Arturia has admitted the sustain bug, claims a fix will happen in November or December, but continues to sell it. For them to even release a version of the Prophet V where the sustain pedal function is completely inoperative or not working correctly, and them charge for this is IMO a total joke. Had I not been persistent and let them know I'm not going away, I'm sure they would have ultimately ignored the issue.Īrturia has been around a long time. In my case, after going through the tech support filtering process, starting with their "generic solutions" that have absolutely nothing to do with my pedal sustain issue, I had to be continually persistent with numerous emails, and ultimately with the help of a visa company and consumer complaint, they finally came through. Good luck.I would of course try to eliminate plugs as suggested, and thoroughly check out my PC and DAW. So, I feel certain you can get there if you really want to use them. For the most part I have everything running and no major issues. Maybe try removing other plugins in your session, or in your system, to see if there are any conflicts. When I say "general system issues" I mean anything that might be bumping heads(could indeed be something in DP, for example). And the guys over there are fairly attentive if you reach out to them. I will say that they are power hungry, with the big GUI's, and if you don't have most of your general system issues in order, they can be unruly. That is to say, I've been in since the beginning and even did some beta on the Mini V. I agree, that the Arturia instruments all sound great.

I'm about ready to get rid of all my arturia VI's and look into NI or some other company. It's absolutely insane that I can't call anyone either. I'm really at a loss as for what to do here. I have installed the latest updates and all that crap. I'm in the middle of sessions trying to use the Mini V, the CS80 and the Wurly and I constantly get random notes playing in places where I don't ask for them.

I have a brand new mac mine and a 2012 Mac Pro with 32 GB of ram and two solid state hard drives. I just purchased the V collection and have had nothing but problems running it on the latest version of Mac os, running DP8.07.
